This can vary depending on the temperature of fresh water that goes into the hot tub, the ambient air temperature and which Lay-Z-Spa model you choose. The Lay-Z-Spa Pump  heats up at approx. 1.5-2°C per hour.

As a rule of thumb:

In the summer it can take up to 12 hours.

In the Autumn and Spring it can take up to 16 hours.

In the Winter it can take up to 20 hours.

The set up of the tub takes between 30-60 minutes on our end and then up to a further hour for the tub to fill with water.

The hot tub is filled using a hose at at your home. We will stay to ensure that the tub is heating and filtering the water correctly. We don’t stay for the duration of the filling as this can take up to two hours.

We recommend leaving the pump on all the time, as this maintains the heat of the water and will mean that the filter is running as well.

You need a space of 2.5m x 2.5m for the hot tub or 3 x 3m for the gazebo.

We are very flexible as to what time we set up and take down. We’ll generally give you a days notice to confirm the time we will arrive.

The tub requires a level surface of size 2 x 2m, a wall socket within 10m from where the tub is being set up, and a tap within 15m.

We use chlorine to keep the water clean and healthy and for longer hires the water may need pH adjusters. We provide training on how to apply the chemicals when we set up your tub.

This is dependant on many factors, but generally the tub will stay comfortable for up to 4 hours of constant use when starting at 40°C. Whilst the pump will continue to heat the water, the temperature loss will be at a faster rate than the pump can manage. This is why we strongly recommend covering up the tub between uses.

Other factors thats will impact the rate of temperature loss include, use of bubbles and the ambient temperature.

We use water pumps that will disperse the water via a hose, whether that be to a drain, lawn or by other means.

We find that the comfortable range for the water is between 36-40°C.

We estimate that the cost of water is between £2 – £3, and the cost of electricity to be in the region of £5 for the tub to get to temperature, and then an additional £2 each day to maintain the temperature.

We do not take damage deposits on delivery, however by agreeing to our term and conditions you are liable to the cost of repair to any damage done to the equipment of up to £200.

Our hot tubs are perfectly safe for the use of children under the supervision of a responsible adult.
